The Desktops (Desktop Manager) homepage
Description
Desktop Manager is a system application to manage multiple desktops within a (terminal server) session.
Multiple desktops give you the ability to separate your application windows by the type of the activity. For instance, you can have the regular desktop for work, another desktop for reading/writing emails, another for playing media and another one for administering your computer with a different, administrative account. This way you always see only those windows on your desktop which are relevant to your current activity. When you want to switch to another activity, you just have to switch to the corresponding desktop - just a matter of pressing 3 keys on the keyboard, no need to log out and log in.
Although your programs run on different desktops, they can still co-operate using the Clipboard, i.e. you can copy and paste among your running applications.
For more details please consult the help file (shipped with the software).
